Lasagna is a family favourite, but it can be seriously heavy on calories. My version is just as tasty, but is up to half the number of calories per portion! In order to achieve this I've made a few tweaks to the recipe which includes using Blend Bro's new sugar free ketchup (yes I said ketchup!) which adds a really rich tomato flavour to the meat sauce, without all the sugar. Dish it up for you & your family & I promise you they won't notice the difference!

Ingredients
500g Extra lean beef mince
1 Onion
1 Clove of garlic
1/2 Bottle Blend Bros Sugar Free Ketchup
1/2 Can chopped tomatoes
1 tsp Oregano
1 Good quality stock cube
200ml Skimmed milk
30g Light mature cheddar cheese
2 tsp Corn flour
1tsp Mustard
1/3tsp Nutmeg
1/2tsp Salt
1/2tsp Pepper
1 Aubergine
2 Wholemeal pasta sheets
Directions
1In a large bottomed fry pan fry the onion & garlic in a splash of oil on a medium heat, then add the mince and fry until all the meat turns brown.
2Add the Blend Bros Sugar Free Ketchup, chopped tomatoes, stock cube, oregano and a splash of water.
3Turn the heat down & allow this to cook for around 15 – 20mins. The longer the better!
4In a separate pan add the milk, corn flour, mustard, cheese and seasoning. Stir until the cheese melts and the sauce thickens.
5Spoon half of the meat into a casserole dish and top with the pasta sheets followed by half of the cheese sauce.
6Repeat this with the second half of the meat mixture using slices aubergine for the top instead of pasta sheets.
7Add the rest of the cheese sauce & finish with grated cheese.
8Bake at 200'c for 15 minutes.
9Tip - If you like a crunchy top finish it off under the grill!
