Low Fat Tomato & Chorizo Chilli

Warm, comforting chilli without all the fat and carbs of the classic recipe!

400g Extra lean beef mince

1 tin chopped tomatoes

1 small onion finely chopped

1 clove of garlic finely chopped

1 bell pepper finely chopped

1 serving (55g) Blend Brothers Tomato Chorizo Savoury Blend

200ml water


1Heat a large frying pan until it’s nice and hot. Add the mince, onion, garlic and bell pepper. Fry until the vegetables soften & the mince browns.

2In a bowl mix together the water and Blend Brothers Tomato Chorizo Savoury Blend. Add this to the mince along with the chopped tomatoes. Reduce the heat and allow to simmer for 20 minutes.

3Keep an eye on it to make sure it doesn’t cook dry. If needed add a little more water.

4Remove from the heat and allow to cool slight before serving.

5My favourite way to enjoy this chilli is with brown rice topped with Greek Yoghurt and fresh mint, but it’s also delicious cold served in a wrap the next day.
