These little banana & peanut butter protein chimp chocolates were created in celebration. For I am now a proud member of the Skinny Chimp family!
Delicious little chocolatey bites with a sweet banana and peanut butter filling. A perfect little healthy treat for hungry chimps!
Prep: 10 mins
Cook: 15 mins
Ingredients
100g high quality chocolate (I use 90% cocoa)
1 scoop banana Muscle Mousse (or this can be subbed for any casein protein powder)
1 teaspoon peanut butter
you will also need a silicone chocolate mould
Directions
1Place the silicone mould in the freezer.
2Mix the Muscle Mousse (or casein) with the peanut butter and a touch of water to make a very thick paste.
3Melt the chocolate over a pan of hot water. Spoon a small amount into the chilled silicone mould and spread the chocolate round the sides by tipping the mould so the chocolate coats the inside.
4Place this in the freezer for a few minutes to set.
5Remove from the freezer and press a small amount of the filling into each mould. Leave a small gap at the top.
6Fill the gap with a little more melted chocolate and return to the freezer or fridge. Allow your chocolates to fully chill before attempting to press them out of the mould.
