Mexican Spiced Protein Nuts

Nuts are a great source of healthy fats, but plain and unsalted they can be a little bit boring. Well, I’ve spiced up these nuts in a high protein coating which adds an incredible morish crunch, as well as delicious Mexican flavours!

1Firstly pre heat your oven to 170’c and line a baking sheet with non stick paper.
2In a large bowl whisk the egg whites until they are really fluffy and form ‘peaks’ when you lift out the whisk.
3Tip the nuts into the egg white ‘fluff’ and mix until they are well coated. If you miss any your protein mix won’t stick.
4Now sprinkle over the Blend Brothers Mexican Pibil High Protein Sauce and give it a good mix.
5Tip the mixture on to the baking sheet and spread it out so there are gaps between the nuts.
6Bake for 10-15 minutes. Give them a stir half way through to ensure they don’t burn.
7Remove the tray from the oven and leave them to fully cool before tucking in!
