These kale crisps are crispy, salty and melt in the mouth. Not common words associated with a leafy green vegetable I will grant you. However, do not dismiss this recipe until you give it a try! These kale crisps are fantastic as a low calorie snack between meals or in place of fat and calorie laden potato crisps.
- Prep: 5 mins
- Cook: 10 mins
1Preheat your oven to 180’c
2With a knife or scissors, remove the leaves from the thick stems and cut into bite sized pieces.
3Wash and dry the kale thoroughly with kitchen paper.
4Using your hands rub the olive oil over the kale leaves and sprinkle with salt.
5Lay the kale out on a large baking sheet and bake until the edges brown but are not burnt. This will take 10 – 12 minutes.
