These chocolate chip and almond protein cookies are completely free from flour and contain no added sugar. They are however super simple to make and are really filling. Perfect for an on-the-go high protein snack.
150g Porridge oats
75g Muscle Mousse chocolate (or chocolate flavoured casein)
50g Dark chocolate chips
50g Almond butter
300g Extra light cream cheese
Topping
Almond butter
Toasted flaked almonds
1Pre-heat your oven to 160’c
2In a large bowl mix together the porridge oats, protein powder and chocolate chips.
3Add the almond butter and cream cheese to the dry mixture and mix everything together until fully combined.
4Line a baking sheet with grease proof paper and a little oil or flour to stop them sticking.
5Get your hands in and roll each cookie into a large walnut shaped ball and place it on the baking sheet.
6Once you’ve done this with all the mixture, oil a fork and press each cookie down to form a cookie shape.
7Bake for 12-15 mintues until the edges begin to crisp.
8Allow to cool and top with some almond butter and toasted flaked almonds.
